If a person is suspected of having alcohol poisoning what should you do?

I always thought that alcohol poisoning was just a person having too much alcohol to drink.  I was reading in an article that alcohol poisoning shuts down some of your organs and it can cause a person to choke on his or her own vomit, it can also cause death.  So it’s a little more than having too much to drink.  Each person has their own tolerance level and will react differently but if you can’t get the person to keep their balance or to stay conscience then you should be concerned.
If you can get the person to throw up or vomit then that would get some of the alcohol off of their stomach.  Do not leave the person along, stay with them and monitor their behavior.  If the person has to go to the emergency room,” the first thing they will probably do is” pump” the person’s stomach.”
